Subject: QED audience

QED should be a public resource that should make mathematics
interesting and usable to a wider audience than it currently is. I
believe it is a non-starter both politically and financially to
restrict our intended audience to professional mathematicians.

If we are to make QED a public resource, let's keep in mind recent
advances in distributed database technology (such as WWW and mosaic).
It would be really interesting to find WWW resources besides the
weather and the latest Dr. Fun Cartoon. (You can also find tangos, by
the way and some really beautiful, albeit risque' pictures of tango
dancers).
